MOMMYS NIGHT IN

Last Saturday, Aaron planned a Daddy Date with Mekele.
First stop: Sonic drinks
Second stop: Lion King
Third stop: FC Dallas soccer game

This left me with an evening all my own... awwwww!
As I lover of lists, my first stop was ...Make a LIST of all I wanted to do!

My evening alone was to be filled with...

1. painting
2. pizza
3. snacks
4. my sonic drink they got me at first stop
5. blogging
6. art projects
7. pajamas
8. phone turned off
9. and the worship music turned up!

So in more detail, here is how I spent my evening alone...
1. Painting blocks... why, you ask. At a fantastic yard sale with my friend Denise, I bought a bag of blocks for only $2!! I cannot believe I didn't buy the second bag... Some of the blocks are wooden and some are fun bright cute colors, and then I found a box of Jenga blocks in our game closet that were boring wooden. So I needed to add some more color to my world and pretty much I couldn't get this little paint project out of my head... I love it when mekele opens up the drawer to our coffee table to find it filled with SO MANY "new" colorful blocks! Colors are just more fun!


2. Pizza...baked a yummy pizza at home

6. Watched Gilmore Girls Season 1 while I worked a second project.. a TO DO list frame idea I saw on Pinterest.
