I wanted to share a few of our favorite things mekele has said lately... seriously, he is such a hoot!!
and here goes...
My husbands favorite...
One day Aaron was drinking a bottle of his favorite adult beverage, a shiner, and
mekele: "drink, daddy?" and opening his mouth "ahh" as he reaches for the drink.
Aaron: "not this drink, buddy. Here is your juice.."
Mekele: "Smell it...?" as he sniffs and leans his nose close to the bottle..
and as matter of fact as anything adds "Oh...Poop!!"
My favorite...
We were in Tulsa in a hotel in August, and were enjoying a delicious breakfast and coffee at Embassy Suites. I brought my coffee back with me to our room to finish drinking it before we headed out. It was on the counter in the room, and I forget what long arms my two year old has. He reached up, took a sip of my coffee, exclaims "ughh, yuck!!" and quickly pours it down the sink ...in an effort to save his mommy from consuming such a "yucky" drink.

Lets his daddy drink poop but doesn't want his mommy to drink sub-par coffee (perhaps he could tell that it wasn't Ethiopian?). Precious, funny boy!
